Rochester New York FC Keeper Caíque had an excellent month in June. The twenty-four-year-old finished the month with only 3 goals allowed, on 16 shots on target good for an 81.25 Save%. Caíque earned one clean sheet in the month and helped Rochester win all three penalty shootouts, saving one shot in each of the three shootouts. His efforts were awarded as MLS Next Pro announced today that he was voted the Goalkeeper of the Month for June 2022! However, his recognition didn't stop there, as he was also awarded the Supporters' Choice Player of the Month for June 2022 after a near-unanimous vote! Also, receiving votes was Lamar Batista who led the way for Rochester with nine interceptions This award is voted on by members of North Star Ultras, an RNYFC supporter group occupying Section A at John L. Dimarco Field.
